Description

Nestled among a lush landscape of pines, magnolias and oaks, the Sydney and Walda Beshoff Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art occupies approximately five acres in City Park adjacent to the museum. This magnificent landscape of mature trees features works by some of the great master sculptors of the 20th century including Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Louise Bourgeois, as well as younger, contemporary sculptors such as Leandro Elrich, Allan McCollum, Jean-Michel Othoniel and Alison Saar. This beautifully illustrated book is the first in Scala’s acclaimed Art Spaces to feature a sculpture garden. It explores the history of this award-winning space and highlights work from its superb collection.
